A Frame fieldhouse located at Second Beach in Stanley Park
The Vancouver Park Board is requesting applications for artists, cultural practitioners, and/or creators from səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation) to work in and activate an A Frame fieldhouse building in a part of their unceded territory now commonly called Second Beach in Stanley Park. The duration of the residency is up to 4 years and the selected practitioner will have exclusive, secure access to the A Frame building as a work/ studio/ gathering space. All types of creative and cultural practices are welcome, i.e. dance groups, drum groups, weavers, plant knowledge holders, visual artists, storytellers, carvers, etc. Successful applicants should be able to commit to a regular presence in the space.
