Fuse: Music Residency 2026 - Interdisciplinary residency for collaborative performance creation
Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity
107 Tunnel Mountain Drive Banff, Alberta Canada
Fuse is a residency for the curious, who want to explore and expand their artistic practice. Supported by wildly imaginative faculty mentors and an environment that encourages creative play, this program encourages musicians and ensembles to experiment, create, research, and grow in Banff Centre’s unrivalled mountain environment.
Performers will collaborate on a large-scale project while also having the opportunity to form smaller ensembles to explore additional artistic expressions.
Together you'll experiment, play, and co-create new concert experiences in a space where the journey matters as much as the outcome. This program is ideal for musicians, singers, conductors, and concert experience creators working in classical, jazz, electronic, and everything in between.
Scholarship covering 100% of tuition cost is awarded to all arts participants, made possible through endowments and donations.
Canadian Indigenous scholarship: covers 100% of tuition fees, a meal plan, and accommodation costs.
Program Dates Apr 13, 2026 - May 02, 2026
