Child Supervisor - The Wizard of Oz

This position is only open to individuals based in Calgary.
ATP is looking for Child Supervisors to supervise the Youth Ensemble (ten children ages 10 – 15) during rehearsals and performances of The Wizard of Oz, including some daytimes on weekdays. Child Supervisors will be responsible for supervising the children, communicating with their parents/guardians, ensuring the children are prepared for cues, and maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
Candidates must be over 18 years of age and must pass a background check. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, and will have first aid certification. Candidates must be comfortable around small dogs. Theatre experience is an asset.
We anticipate a total of approximately 320 hours from 30 Oct 2025 – 04 Jan 2026, to be split between 2 Child Supervisors (who will work primarily independently of each other).

Accessibility: The rehearsal, and performance spaces for this production are accessible via multiple elevators from within the Werklund Centre. Some entrances to the Werklund Centre, including Stage Door, require steps, but they can be circumnavigated through other routes. Applicants hired for this production will not require staff assistance to enter rehearsal or performance spaces. One dressing room is fully accessible.
