Reporting to the Director of Development, the Administrative Development Assistant performs administrative and development support work in the Development department of the Vancouver Art Gallery. The incumbent assists the Director of Development and other divisional staff by providing a range of administrative and development support functions. Responsibilities include: coordinating incoming communications; drafting responses, letters and memoranda; preparing reports; coordinating meetings and other appointments; coordinating travel arrangements; maintaining records and files; processing and tracking the Director of Development’s expense claims; opening, sorting, and prioritizing mail; assisting with projects and special events; providing back-up database support for donor and membership records; and ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the Director of Development’s Office by implementing appropriate systems and procedures.
