The New Aesthetics Performance Intensive is a 2-week summer intensive where Theatre Replacement brings in two international artists to share their practice with practicing artists, curators and researchers.

For 2023, the program's ten year anniversary, we are collaborating with guest curator Justine A. Chambers to bring in Autumn Knight and keyon gaskin. Knight and gaskin have built extensive interdisciplinary and international performance careers exploring place, authority and defiance. Guest teachers will also be brought in via a partnership with Western Front to make this decade long milestone of expanding contemporary performance practice that much more special. Join us!
