Block A is for emerging playwrights/theatre creators and established writers of other mediums excited to write for the stage to work together in a cohort to develop their writing with the support of a senior playwright mentor. 

Each Block A cohort of six writers meet for ten weeks with their mentor who offers fundamentals of writing for performance and helps engage their cohort to be creatively generative and supportive of each other’s writing.
