In anticipation of the unveiling of CILT’s new 2026–2031 strategic plan, we are pleased to introduce a new initiative, “CILT’s Canvas: Envisioning Our Values“. This initiative will commission a paid work of art that celebrates the values guiding CILT and our community into the next chapter.

Deaf/disabled artists with lived experience of disability and other equity‑deserving identities
Artists who enjoy creating symbolic, metaphor‑driven visual work inspired by shared values
Artists who are open to a collaborative, values‑based process and comfortable receiving feedback from a small staff group while staying true to their creative voice
