A 2-week workshop of a new actor-musician musical titled "Guildwood". The project is inspired by the real-life Guild of All Arts, an arts colony built at the height of the Great Depression in Scarborough, Ontario. The story follows the artists on the last night of the colony before it is taken over by the military for use in a great war across the sea. The artists have one last night to find peace with themselves and each other before their home is lost forever.

This project is open to musicians of all skill levels and experience. Though we hope to see many skilled instrumentalists, we acknowledge the history of classism and white supremacy the actor-musician genre has perpetuated. If you (like me) don't have a lick of RCM training, we'd love to see you just as much!
