Description
Bard Education is seeking workshop proposals for Bard Studio, our free workshop series for theatre professionals. Workshop proposals are welcome from teaching artists of all disciplines relating to live performance. We especially welcome submissions from artists, educators and facilitators who have not yet worked for Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival.
What is Bard Studio?
- Free drop-in classes for theatre professionals at any stage in their career.
- Bard Studio participants are adult theatre professionals at all levels: emerging, early-career and established
- Participants have the chance to enhance their skills in various performance disciplines, not necessarily tied to Shakespeare.
What we provide if we program your session(s):
- Workshop space
- Marketing, promotion, and registration
- Additional support as requested within our capacity
- A workshop delivery fee ($100 per teaching hour + GST if applicable)
What you provide if we program your session(s):
- Workshop session or session(s) as agreed
- Preparation of all necessary curriculum materials
- Commitment to following Bard’s policies, guidelines and Company Commitments
