BC Culture Days is seeking applications from emerging artists of all mediums. Each year, the BC Culture Days Ambassador Program provides up to ten emerging artists from across the province with production budgets and organizational support to host Culture Days (September 22 - October 15, 2023) events to engage their local communities. Each artist is paid to pursue a 6-month mentorship, starting in May, with an established artist. They also act as a spokesperson for Culture Days in their local regions.

In alignment with this year's program theme of Accessibility and Inclusion and BC Culture Days' ongoing efforts towards equitable practices, priority will be given to applicants from IBPOC, Deaf, disability, regional, and other underserved communities. BC Culture Days is also partnering with Kickstart Disability Arts & Culture to better support this year’s program and ambassadors.

The deadline for applications is February 28th, 2023.
