Where Have All the Buffalo Gone? Audition

Axis Theatre is accepting submissions from Vancouver/Lower Mainland based performers, for Where Have All The Buffalo Gone? By Tai Grauman.
We are auditioning for:
ISKWEWO - A Metis woman is in her 20’s or 30's. She lives through 7 love stories alongside NAPEW. She shows us the struggle to protect their people and celebrate their resilient sovereignty as Métis women. She is a hunter, mother, farmer and the farm girl next door.

This production will be touring. A BC Driver’s License an asset. Ability to lift 50 LBS/23 Kg a must. As per CTA clause 27:04 (a) Should the Actor be required to cover visible tattoos, and the Theatre advised them of this at the time of contracting, it will be the responsibility of the Actor to provide the products and supplies required for such coverage.
All artists will be engaged under a CTA form of contract, specifically Article 55:00 Theatre for Young Audiences. Submissions from Equity and non-Equity performers are welcome. All performers who work with Axis Theatre are required to get a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check (paid for by Axis if you don't have a valid one).
Equity members will be seen first for this audition. Axis' Artistic Director, Chris McGregor, and co- director Amanda Testini will be facilitating the auditions.
Auditions will be held in person and will consist of reading scenes from the script.
