Description
This is an entry-level position that will aid with and oversee administrative support for the Arts Club Theatre Company’s artistic activities including, but not limited to: mainstage productions, touring productions, rehearsals, special events, workshops, and readings.
This position is responsible for:
- Organizing, attending, and taking meeting minutes for weekly artistic meetings.
- Proactive document creation, data entry, and information sharing.
- Drafting all Artist contracts (CTA, VMA, PGC, Letters of Agreement, etc)
- Receiving and mailing scripts & scores.
- Booking travel & accommodation for out-of-town artists.
- Writing and sending our monthly Artist Newsletter.
- Attending Arts Club dress rehearsals, opening nights, and events.
A large part of this position involves collaborating with members of the Artistic Team to assist with the day-to-day of arts administration. This includes:
- Assisting with day-to-day operations of the Artistic Team such as filing, scheduling, and updating information.
- Assisting with budget maintenance.
- Assisting with drafting contract riders.
- Assisting with organizing, scheduling, and facilitating auditions.
- Assisting with scheduling, planning, and running artistic events & programs (ie, Staff Dress Rehearsal Nights, Opening Nights, Artist Parties, Panels, Incubator Series, etc).
- Assisting with tracking rights agreements & licensing royalties for all productions.
