YPT is currently searching for candidates to fill the position of Intergenerational Programming Associate, reporting to the Associate Director, Education & Participation and the Senior Director of Administration & Producer. They will work in tandem with the Intergenerational Programming Producer. YPT is looking for the ideal candidate who will assist in the creation and facilitation of YPT’s pilot of its Intergenerational Programming Initiative. This is a full-time 3-year contract starting immediately.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Research trends, needs and best practices in regards to arts education programming that benefits both seniors and children (particularly early childhood age).
• Develop and execute intergenerational community-based programming in tandem with the Intergenerational Programming Producer.
• Facilitate some drama and arts programming within the intergenerational envelope.
• Build relationships and community connections in particular with the seniors’ communities.
• Facilitate related volunteer coordination.
